Position Opening: Certified Peer Specialist
Job Description: Seeking a female candidate that is a Certified Peer Specialist. The individual in this position will be working with homeless individuals with mental health diagnoses. The individual in this role will be expected to perform the following duties:
• Transport clients to appointments
• Assist clients with tasks and assignments as designated by case manager
• Advocate for clients in achieving the tasks that are necessary to become permanently housed
• Document activities thoroughly
• Obtain items clients require (prescriptions, documentation, housing supplies, etc.)
The chosen candidate must be well-organized and be familiar or willing to familiarize themselves with service systems within the Atlanta area. The chosen candidate must have a valid drivers license and insurance. The chosen candidate must also be flexible and efficient with multi-tasking.
