Highland Rivers CSB

ActionMed Personnel serving Highland Rivers, CSB is seeking two Certified Peer Specialist. One for Rome, Georgia area and one in Ellijay, Georgia. They are both fulltime positions working as Peer Support for Adult and Children/Adolescents in a treatment program. Action Med Personnel places permanent outsource staffing for Highland Rivers, CSB in 11 NW Ga. counties. We offer a competitive benefits package and wages begin at $20,800 annually.

You must be at least 21 yrs of age and have a valid Driver's license. You must be able to submit a good 7 yr. driving record (MVR) and have a HS Diploma or GED; pass a drug screen and background checks. Positions are for 1st shift Mon-Sat/ 40 hrs week. Duties to include; meeting with consumers and staff to plan and design schedules. Operate van and transport consumers as needed. Monitor and supervise consumers on breaks and lunch. Provide and facilitate structured day program classes, meet requirements for documentation and notes in required time frame for consumers charts. Computer skills a must. Attend meetings and trainings with other staff and assist in treatment plan to identify consumers strengths and development needs, complete follow ups and referrals services to facilitate consumers needs in transitioning from programs to independent daily living.

The position of Certified Peer Specialist requires a specific Certification In Georgia. If you have a certificate or if you are getting ready to take the exam, please include a copy or information on the exam date.
