Renaissance Counseling Services, an Assertive Community Treatment agency is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist. This opportunity allows the Peer Specialist to be a support to the community by assisting in helping the clients to cope with their mental illness and providing Act Services while functioning as part of a team. The CPS performs a wide range of tasks to assist clients in regaining control over their lives and their recovery process. The CPS will act as a role model to their clients. The applicant must have excellent communication skills, writing skills and reliable transportation. The position is Monday–Friday however applicants must be flexible. Salary for this position ranges from $ 25,000 to $29,000 annually and benefits include medical, dental, and paid vacation.

Educational Requirements
High school diploma/equivalent
Certification by the GA Certified Peer Specialist Project
